Irini Konstantinou (she/her/hers) is a Greek/Peruvian writer from Williamson, NY. Deeply attached to language and culture, her poems and lyric essays honor the stories of the family/οικογένεια/familia who came before her. Curious about womanhood and distillations of identity, she experiments with genre-b(l)ending to combine writing with mediums such as dance, painting, and video. Irini is currently pursuing an MFA in Poetry at Sarah Lawrence College. She is a daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, dancer, baker, and runner. Her name means “peace.”
