Submissions

We’re open for submissions!

Send your work to us on Tally. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up-to-date.

We accept fiction, nonfiction, poetry, art, translations, book reviews, forthcoming book excerpts, and work for our Palestinian Voices and Ukraine series. We love work that is personal and political and shows that you can write beautifully and incisively about important subjects, whether global or specifically domestic. We want work that had to be written now.

We accept simultaneous submissions. If your work is accepted elsewhere, please let us know at anotherchimagazine@gmail.com.

Nominations We enthusiastically nominate for annual prizes and anthologies, including Pushcart, Best of the Net, and the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize.

Submission Fees

We charge a submission fee for some genres to help cover operational costs. We waive this fee for Ukrainian voice and Palestinian voice submissions, and for BIPOC writers as a form of literary reparations. These writers should use the no-fee form for their genre when submitting: nonfiction, fiction, poetry, Ukrainian voices, and Palestinian voices.
